Leave M1 Junction 36, and follow the brown 'Elsecar Heritage' signs. We are only 2 miles away from the motorway. Free car parking and free entry to general site. Admission prices applicable for children's play centre and some special events.

Is there wheel chair access?
There is easy access to the Heritage Centre and most areas of the Heritage Centre are accessible by wheelchair, we also have onsite toilet facilities as well.
Can we get there by bus or train?
The Heritage Centre is 10 minutes walk from the Elsecar Village Station. On arriving at the station, turn right at the top of the platform access ramp and follow the main road down the hill until you reach the Centre, next to the Market Inn.
Trains run on a regular service from Leeds, Barnsley, Sheffield, Wakefield and Huddersfield.
Regular bus service also available from/to Barnsley, Sheffield and Rotherham.
